Sunday Glow – Flower – Photo
Welcome to Monday.
I may be late in welcoming you to this new week, but only by a few hours (give or take a half a day). Recently I’ve heard several people talk about being “fashionable late” I don’t know how that is even possible, because I was always taught that it is best to be on time 100% of the time and that early is even better.
This week is shaping up to be an interesting one. I’m not entirely sure how everything is going to go, but I am sure that next week is a very welcome spring break.
What will I be doing over spring break? Probably taking some pictures, but for I also have a few fairly big projects that I’m working on for some other fine people. A website to set up and few brochures to finish designing… I’ll definitely have plenty to do.
At any rate, on to the picture for today… Now that spring is about here I’m starting to see the flowers pop up and other little signs that the world is about to be “reborn.” I love spring!
Technically – In Terms of Processing
The picture is literally a “snap shot” I made last year. It was a little flower in one of my mothers flowerbeds…
All the editing to this image was done in Lightroom. Nothing very heavy at all, just some simple adjustments in the Basic section of the Develop module.
I finished the image off with a bit of a split tone, a warm pinkish color in the highlights and a bit of cool color in the shadows.
And there you go.
I posted the other day on the website of a local photography club that I am a part of. The website is a bit “under construction” but it still is workable. Here is a link to that post called The Big And Little Picture.
Have a great evening,
