Stoic Cedar – Tree – Photo
Hey everyone! I hope your Wednesday is going well.
I decided to do something different today. In an effort to get more things done in one day I decided to get out of bed earlier than I usually do.
Talk about painful. It’s amazing how hard it is to drag myself out of bed before I am ready to. Although I’m not sure when I am ever “ready” to get out of bed.
Anyway. This particular image was made one evening about a mile from my house. This cedar tree has always stuck out to me, partly because it is smaller than most cedar trees and partly because it is in the center of a field all by itself. Nothing makes a tree stick out like it being by itself.
Technically – In Terms of How the Photo Was Processed
Not a whole lot to tell here either. I shot a number of bracketed exposures and then put them together using Photoshop’s “Merge to HDR” feature. I took that 32 bit file back into Lightroom and worked on it to get this final result.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great Wednesday,
Eldon
