Sunset Bench – Bench – Photo
Good evening Everyone.
I hope your week has started well. Mine started with a math test today. Tomorrow I have a Chemistry test. Wednesday I have a Spanish test. Friday I’m supposed to have another test.
So everything is kind of conspiring against me at the moment. At least that’s what it seems like.
Oh well. It’s ok.
And if you noticed there are some changes on my website. I’ve been thinking for some time that it might be nice to make things a little more simple to navigate and hopefully I have done that. Let me know if you think its gooder or bader or… whatever…
Technically – In Terms of Processing
Ok. So it has been a few weeks since I reworked this image. Originally I shot the set of brackets with the thought in mind that I would eventually merge them together into an HDR. Well I didn’t get it done for awhile. However once Lightroom added the ability to work directly on a 32 bit tiff file I was pumped to give it a try. This was one of the first images that I ran through that process.
Once the images were put together into a 32 bit tiff file and I was able to work with the image in Lightroom I was quite impressed with how far I could push the shadows and highlights. The 32 bit tiff file, if created using enough exposures to cover the entire range of exposure, contains almost all the details from bright to dark. So you can literally get almost any amount of detail that you want/need.
I don’t believe I did much outside of Lightroom’s Develop module. If I did I may have went into Photoshop to clean a few little things up.
That’s about it!
