Foreboding Clouds

One of the places that I wanted to get to pretty badly while I was in Maine was Cadillac Mountain. I particularly wanted to be on top for a sunrise…

However the two and a half days that we spent in the Acadia National Park area were quite wet. Cloudy. Rainy. Foggy. So I didn’t get up on Cadillac Mountain for a sunrise.

I did however spend an hour or so on the peak of the mountain one morning. (I’d appreciate if more mountains had “roads to the summit” like Cadillac Mountain does!)

It was quite overcast but was still quite beautiful.
