Walking Home – Church – Photo
Good evening everyone. As I mentioned last evening, I usually don’t post to the blog on Saturdays.
However this Saturday is different, for a few reasons.
But the biggest reason that I needed to post today is to tell you something that may (or may not) affect you.
I’ve decided to take April off – from the blog, from social media and a few other things that are taking way too much of my time these days. The reasons are various and some of them are worth more than others, but I’ll share a few of them with you.
First off and probably the biggest reason for doing such a “drastic” thing is that it is the last month of this semester. I really need to focus and concentrate on my schoolwork. I need to do well in a few classes and I need to find some more time to spend on that. So that is one of the bigger reasons for this – I need more time for my schoolwork.
Second off is the fact that I’ve got several projects for clients that need to get finished up. Spending time on those projects is going to fill up any extra time I have… I need to focus on completing these things.
Third off I need to breathe, I need to just back away from all that is online. When I work for hours on end on things that revolve around my online world, whether it be this blog or a new website I’m building or catching up on all the latest photography or WordPress news – when I spend hours working on these things I can almost forget that there is a real world out there. A world with people that are living and breathing, sure the online world is real, but well… I need some separation.
So that’s kind of the extent of it all. I’m going “away” for a month. I’ll be back online around the 8th of May. I’ve got some big (at least for me) plans this summer and I’m looking forwards to sharing those with you all…
In the meantime if you need to get ahold of me feel free to use the contact form here on the website, I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
Take care, and I’ll see you all soon.
