This picture has always reminded me of a rocket sitting on a launch pad. Waiting for the last couple seconds of countdown before cutting the bolts that hold it down… and soaring into the sky.
The last few days I’ve been extremely busy working on the back-end of a new website that I hope can go live some time this coming week. But the thing is that I was hoping it could go live this week. It just took me longer to do things than I thought it would. (Not to mention a few wrenches threw themselves into the gears of an otherwise really profitable week.)
But it got me to thinking. If I am entirely honest… part of the reason that I’ve held off on launching the site is because I’m scared to. I’m a bit nervous about letting this new “child” face the big world of the internet. And yet… well it needs to face the music, stand on the little stage that I need it to stand on and sing its song.
So I failed to launch. At least this week.
But I shall go live next week. (Unless the universe comes together against me. Or some major event occurs that will take the little piece of my professional life that is this website and render it absolutely not even important.)
Just so you can hold me accountable. The site is Lburghomes.us. It is (or will be) the online home of my real estate photography… Which reminds me, if you are in the Lynchburg area and need some photography done for a real estate listing go ahead and contact me. I’d be really happy to work with you!
What is waiting in the wings of your world, almost ready for the hot spotlight of the world?
